Celebrate Good Food, Good Conversation in 2010

AB Mauri Fleischmann’s Sponsors Musical Mayhem

(Chesterfield, Missouri… January 7, 2010) Most people understand the joy of good conversation with good food, yet some have never experienced this simple pleasure. Together with the Center for Hearing & Speech, AB Mauri Fleischmann’s hopes to help more children and adults have a chance to enjoy the gift of gab.

As part of AB Mauri Fleischmann’s commitment to support causes that enhance the quality of life, the company is sponsoring the Good Food, Good Conversation Dessert Bar at the third annual Musical Mayhem on February 19, 2010, at The Purser Center at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Musical Mayhem benefits the Center for Hearing & Speech, which improves the quality of life for individuals with hearing and speech disorders by providing caring and high quality services to individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

“The Center is honored to have AB Mauri Fleischmann’s help us provide more services to those in need, and the Good Food, Good Conversation Dessert Bar will be a great place for people to mingle and enjoy one of the pleasures that many take for granted – enjoying good conversation over good food,” said Rita Tintera, executive director for the Center for Hearing & Speech.

The Center is a 501( c ) 3 non-profit organization that reduces the impact communications disorders – the nation’s number one disability – can have on the health and well being of individuals in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Center’s primary goal is to identify, treat and prevent communication disorders by offering Speech/Language and Audiology services to infants, children and adults, whether or not they have the insurance or financial resources to afford these services. On-site and outreach efforts provide identification and treatment of communication problems among needy and low-income populations who would not otherwise have access to such services.
